Category: Custom residential, new construction Role: Project manager for the general contractor for phases one and two Responsibilities: Procurement of the project for the general contractor and all oversight of the coordination between the owner, architect (The Wendell Lovett Architects), and subcontractors for the initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing of the project Description: The project was in some level of construction for seven years and was budgeted at approximately $13 million. Street-level access was on the third floor of the building. The construction involved a shored foundation system, a steel and concrete structural system, unprecedented framing tolerances for highly detailed finishes, and very sophisticated electronic controls for HVAC, lighting, and communications. |
